A few honest answers.

What is a credit?
One credit = one scraping job. Whether you route via Bright Data or Oxylabs, whether the page is 500ms or 5s, whether extraction succeeds or fails — the credit charge is for justcrawl's orchestration, not the provider call. You pay providers separately on your own keys.
Why is it cheaper than the providers themselves?
Because we don't run the proxies. The providers do. We charge for the workflow, the routing, the analytics, and the pre-built parsers. Vendor compute and bandwidth bills go straight to your provider account.
What happens if I run out of credits mid-month?
Active jobs continue draining; new jobs get a 402 (no quota) until you top up. Refill is self-serve from the dashboard. We never auto-charge a card.
Do credits expire?
No. They roll forward as long as your account is active. Account closure forfeits the remaining balance.
Refunds?
Credits aren't refundable, but unused credits don't expire and Enterprise contracts can be true-up at renewal. If something is broken on our end, email us.
